Our client, one of the leading manufacturers of expansion joints for industry and aerospace, was exploring new business opportunities in Eastern Europe and requested EasyLink to confirm the likely route to market (direct to OEM customers in the design and manufacture of petrochemical process plant, hot metal processing plant and power industry) and identify companies seriously interested in further talks with a new supplier of metal expansion joints. |

Our list of prospective partners included 10 companies that all expressed strong interest in receiving detailed information from a new potential supplier. Our findings confirmed that rather strong interest exists amongst local companies to find an additional partner. Since there are no domestic manufacturers of expansion joints, manufacturing metallic bellows expansion joints locally seems to be an interesting long-term option to be considered. We further concurred that both agents/distributors and OEM manufacturers constitute a viable route and recommended the client to further explore both alternatives. |
